Objectifs de formation:
- compréhension du concept de prestation de soins de santé en pleine conscience;
- ses effets sur le mieux-être du professionnel de la santé et de son milieu et sur la qualité des soins;
- la pratique de la pleine conscience dans la vie quotidienne
Méthode didactique:
- cours théoriques;
- expérimentation par la pratique personnelle durant les cours et à la maison entre les cours;
- partage d'expérience des membres du groupe par les discussions et échanges

October 31 - November 3, 2012: Promoting Mindful Practice in Medical Education and Practice
A workshop designed for medical practitioners and educators who are interested in incorporating mindful practice into their professional lives and wish to develop greater attention and awareness in their teaching and clinical work. No prior experience necessary, but openness and experience with contemplative practice is highly desirable. The goal of the workshop is to reduce clinician burnout and improve well-being, while enhancing the quality of patient-centered care clinicians provide. The workshop will also address mindful practice teaching and program development in medical settings. It will be held at the beautiful Chapin Mill Retreat Center, in Western New York.
